Connecting the community with the Divine through Gurbani and Seva.
The tradition of the Gurdwara dates back to the time of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, who established these centers as places for congregational prayer and community service. We build a community that stands for justice and the well-being of all.
A Gurdwara is a Sikh house of worship and a center for community gathering. Since the time of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, Gurdwaras have served as places where people come together to pray, share meals, and serve others.
The Gurdwara of Hanover Park continues this tradition by providing a welcoming environment where members of the community can practice their faith, participate in religious services, and contribute to community welfare. The Gurdwara is open to everyone regardless of religion, nationality, gender, or background.
Our goal is to preserve the spiritual teachings of Sikhism while also creating a space where future generations can learn about their faith, language, and heritage.

To provide a sacred space for the community to connect with the Divine through Gurbani and to practice the core Sikh values of Kirat Karo (honest living), Vand Chakko (sharing with others), and Naam Japo (meditating on God’s name).

To foster a spirit of equality, compassion, and selfless service. We aim to be a spiritual home for all, regardless of background or belief, rooted in the teachings of the Sikh Gurus.

We encourage everyone to participate in "Seva"—whether helping in the kitchen, cleaning the premises, or assisting in community outreach—as a symbol of equality and devotion.
